Installing Spacers - Sydney

Hi guys,

Got some Macht Schnell spacers that I haven't got around to installing (joys of having a new born). I figure once I do I will need an alignment done so figure I can just get it done together.

As such I wanted to see if there were any recommendations for where i can get the spacers installed and the car aligned either around Bondi or North Sydney.

you need an alignment anyways or you doing it because you are adding spacers? as far as i know, you dont need alignment after adding spacers

I just assumed that I would need an alignment after doing the spacers, if I don't I might just buy a torque wrench and do it myself!

Edit - Just saw the cost of a half decent torque wrench and it hardly seems worth it now.

Which part of Sydney are you in? I got my alignment done recently from a place in artarmon that were ok...

Also, how did you work out the size and brand of your spacers?

I'm in Bondi but work in North Sydney having said that it looks like i will pop over to my dads to do the install. I forgot how decked out his garage is

As far as my spacers setup goes. I just looked at spacers threads on this forum to get an understanding of what the final product would look like.
I have a competition pack M3 so it sits lower and has wider rims which mean't I decided to go with Macht Schnell 12mm rear and 15mm front as we with the lower comp suspension and wider wheels it seems that it fills the guards perfectly.

Don’t forget the longer bolts for the spacers.
Alignment not necessary

Don’t need an alignment. Just take the wheels off and slide the spacers on. 3-5min job per corner.
