Anyone tried BG44 or A Fuel system cleaner
Curious if anyone has tried BG44 or any of the cleaners on their M3 and noticed any difference?
Thanks |

In Canada they still recommend and sell at the BMW dealer:
BMW Group Fuel System Cleaner Plus uses polyether amine TECHRON® based technology developed and patented by Chevron. BMW Group Fuel System Cleaner Plus has proven to clean up deposits in fuel injectors, ports & intake valves and reduces the harmful effects of combustion chamber deposits.

If you regularly use a top tier gasoline like Chevron or Shell then you don't need to use a fuel system cleaner as an additive. Top tier gasoline already has the right amount of detergents/etc. to keep our engines in good shape.
If you live in the sticks and get crappy gas, then an additive every few thousand miles makes sense. |
