Changing Gauge Cluster Color???

Hi All,

I have been playing around with the idea of changing the cluster color to yellow, to match my new Coby wheel with the yellow stripe at 12 O'clock. But the only thing I could find was this vinyl overlay.

https://eurocustomspr.com/collection...uster-overlays

I don't mind going this route but am having a hard time justifying spending the $115 for basically just a sticker. Was curious if anyone else has done this and how?

Thanks,
Jay

I would also have a hard time swallowing $115 for a sticker. I wanted the M logo to light up but for $90 bucks + shipping I rather leave it alone. Then again, you have people paying thousands for an exhaust lol. To each his own I suppose. That red cluster does look interesting though!

100 bucks is fair. It’s not that easy to print high quality

Would love to go that route, but when it comes to opening up head-lights and Gauge clusters, I'll leave that to the professionals.

ACM has done it for one of their customers. Looks sharp in my opinion.

I ordered gray ones to mimic the E46 M cluster style. I’ll post photos when I get Them.

Also it’s not a sticker, it’s plastic.

It's really easy top open up and tinker with the cluster. I even soldered white LEDs on the backlight of my speedo and tach on the 328, lol! Much easier than headlights, that's for sure.

However, Euro Customs doesn't sell the metric Canadian/Euro versions of this, otherwise I'd grab the red one for sure

Brighter than the stock amber LEDs? Yeah they are slightly, so I have the brightness turned down so it's easier on the eyes at night. I'm not a fan of overly bright gauges.

Lol I loved that mod, did it on both my '96 328 and my '01 330Ci lol.

That looks pretty good. I'd love for some sharp clear LEDs on my gauges similar to how some supras have it set up.
