Interior Restoration V2 - Leather Care I've always wanted to try Swissvax leather cleaner. Unfortunatly it was sold out everywhere in the US, so I had to find a distributer in Canada to purchase a kit. Overall I thought it worked fairly well. Might go back in for another round in a few days; but it did a good job of extracting the dirt from the seats. Before: After: Driver's seat before: Driver's seat after: I also cleaned the steering wheel while I was at it: |

gonna be awesome. In regards to leather treatment, I highly recommend doing the Leatherique Rejuvanator. Soaks the shit out of your seats and let it sit for 3 days. Changes the feel dramatically

Modifications & Maintenance Finally getting around to writing this. Things haven't gone exactly as expected, but instead got a little out of control. Instead of having KW Clubsports installed, I ended up getting a set of JRZ RS Pros (w/ vorshlag camber plates & GC rear weight jacks) -- and instead of getting 'regular' ST60s, I ended up getting ST60 trophies. Finally, in addition to rod bearings, I had my transmission dropped and resealed. An unwelcome expense, but hopefully a step forward towards further "bullet proofing" the car. Luckily, I was also able to trade my M359s for EC-7s. Unfortunately, said EC-7s came with a set of corded Michelin Pilot Super Sports; so I was in search of tires much sooner than anticipated, so I ended up snagging a set of A052s. Not the best 'street' tires, but they will suffice. Props to TJ / EAS for install: Obligatory old rod bearing pic: Of course, after I had everything installed it was time for a ~1,500mi+ road trip. (Picture was taken somewhere in the middle of nowhere.) Ultimately, even with 650/800lb springs, the ride quality is great. It feels similar to EDC on its harshest setting. Much better than my old KW Clubsports. When I get back to LA, I intend on having 550lb front springs with helpers installed, along with poly FCABs. I also intend on having the car cleaned up exterior wise (repaint bumpers, PDR dents, etc.) |
