that sucks about your BaT experience, very sorry to hear that. i'm going to have to read the T's and C's now.

the sunroof on your car does hurt a little but probably not as much in Florida. good luck with the sale, she's a beauty.

Thanks my friend. I am still sore. Basically, the terms under BaT state that if your car does not reach reserve they can apply their fee (and more) to make a sale happen. So, if you agree to a low reserve you better be happy with that price because you may get it.

i bought a car on BaT a few months ago with the same scenario. my winning high bid was under the reserve (according to the very grumpy seller). in my estimation, he was clearly annoyed over the whole thing as I surmise he was never happy over the low reserve price that BaT required from him in order to accept the listing. it's a scenario which obviously works in the buyer's favor.

once again, sorry to hear that, and good information to share. i'm going to list a car on BaT next summer and will keep it in mind.
