Mounting TPMS on Wheels & Not Putting Them On Car. OK?
I took my new wheels, tires and TPMS (For an 08-09 e92 M3) to be mounted and balanced, but did not have the car available.
Is this OK? Will the tires need to come back off to be calibrated to my M3 or when I decide to put on this new set do I simply need to go to iDrive and reset TPMS? |

Mounting tires, tpms on wheels is independent of the vehicle. This is how tire rack can send them to you. Once you put them on the car you need to reset the TPMS and you are done.

You shouldn't need to do anything. Nothing needs to be reset.
