<3 my M
I've always owned a Mercedes at one point in my licensed life and I'll be the first to tell you that they are good cars, but the suspension sucks compared to an M.
The M3 feels like it's driving on rails, so smooth, tight, easy to change direction, it's alive and crisp. Crisp I tell you! Getting the car sideways is one thing that a BMW does very well. The limited slip differential is one of my favorite things about the car. Driving fast in a straight line has always been a thrill but after a while you simply get over it. Switching back and forth from my C300 (daily driver) driving the M3 is a real treat. MDM: M dynamic mode is my favorite thing about the M button. When you're not in full concentration but you still want to have fun it's the perfect thing. 90% of the fun without getting yourself into too much trouble. Entering an on ramp - full throttle no problem. 50 - 50 weight distribution; owe my, am I in love. Traction off and make some smoke! So balanced so controllable. I can change the direction of the car so quickly and freely. Too much fun So I guess what I'm trying to say is I love it - even though it's just a car, I look forward to driving it after a long day.. Thank you BMW, thank you M division, and thank you automotive engineers. Cheers

Agree!
I love the M and having a 2006 E-350 and a 2006 R-350 Mercedes, I am extremely disappointed at all the maintaince problems. E-350 with 90,000 miles tranny went out and on my wife R-350 with 64,000 miles tranny went out. Dealer stated that they had problems in that model of tranny but not under warranty and it was $9,000 a piece. He said to bad it did not go out while it was on warranty. Why would a tranny on a $70,000 car go out? Mercedes sucks man,. Just my 2 cents. I love Bimmer. Done complaining.
