I tried this one, and it worked quite well, I just got off with a warning. Just say that you just got your car back from the body shop (front bumper was repainted or you had front end damage), and they didn't put the front plate back on. Say you're going back to the shop tomorrow or the day after to put it back on. I usually have my extra front plate ready just behind my passenger seat so I can grab it to show them.

Give me 2 logical reasons to put one on and i will.

Damn it! I was afraid of that. It must have flown off when i was doing 145 down the interstate. I usually end races around 120 but this AMG wouldn't let off and i didn't want him to think he won, so.....

A front plate... now, Megan Fox would be nearly as hot if she wore a Hitler mustache, would she?

Front plates are for non-rebel pussy bitches. ...not you though, yours is super tough. *add a * for good measure.

Also, you could divert his or her attention by removing your pants before they get to the window. Worked for me... Not really, i wouldn't recomend this course of action.

But my personal response is that i don't live in a bass acwards state that requires you to install 2 fricking plates.

You do realise they can ask for the paperwork showing when and where was your front bumper re-painted?

And I have tried this before, i.e. keeping the plate in the car with the bracket painted and everything! it doesnt work!...he said why do you have it here? it should be put on in the front!

Trust me when they wanna act like jackasses they sure know what buttons to press

My mom was pulled over in her Mercedes for no front plate. When the officer told her that she was pulled over for no front plate, she asked in a smart-ass tone, "you really turned me around to pull me over for not having a front plate?"

Reply was, "yes ma'am, a car like yours was reported stolen and wanted to make sure everything was okay here. Why don't you have a front license plate?"

"My son doesn't think it is aesthetically pleasing."

No ticket.

This is mine, very similar, but the cop was cool: I have the plate in the trunk, just never got the dealer to put it on. Got my car out of state (which is true) and that state didn't require a front plate...

(Just croozing on a Sunday night)
I saw another M3 so I pulled an illegal U. Then drove 60 on a 50, signal, signal then I was behind the other M3. We croozed speed limit for like 2 mns then he took the next left. I had no intention of racing him. Light turned red I waited, then some doush got out of his small SUV without any police marks (nothing) showed me his badge and said pull over yada yada yada...

But still I was thinking go :finger: yourself.

Wasn't doing anything worth getting pulled over for.. But it's like I said I got off w/t a warning.

Has anyone used this one and did it work? Is there such a clause in Maryland?

Was at a stop light with 2 lanes merging into one, right after the interesection with the stop light.

So I was in the right lane, accelerated pretty hard, you know how even the stock exhaust is when you accelerate, its pretty loud

Cut into the left lane, with signaling. Then just going , mind you the road is single way now. I miss my right turn, so I pull left and instead of going into the street, I turn and make a u-turn kinda like what you did.

Then as I head back I see an undercover douche bag meet his eyes with mine and gives me a dirty look.

I know hes coming now and then he turns right around and stops me inside a private poperty, as I was entering a parking lot.

Blah Blah, show it to the judge...I was like

I keep my front plate on the floor on the passenger side. I put the plate in a frame....added two suction cups....so when i get pulled over....I pop it up on the windshield. I actually had one cop apologize for pulling me over as he didnt see it at first....but due to safety reasons, I should mount it on my bumper.
For the past 6 yrs.....3 warnings and 1 apology!

haha ur lucky in vancouver they are nice like that, however in ontario people who put there number plates on the dash like yourself or attach it to the winshield get pulled over more often.
All my friends with sports cars did that, and they all got ticketed. Fed-up they drilled the holes.

The logical explaination for this is because from a distance it becomes apparent that ur vehicle has the front plate mounted on the windshield and or placed on dashboard. Cops or anyone for that matter with a decent eye can catch that, and immediately pull you over, because its an easy ticket for the money hungry police division!

However, if you dont keep it there, cops have to pass you and look at the back of your vehicle before turning around and pulling you over.
This is because Quebec/other foreign US cars are not required by law to have a front plate in there respective jurisdictions/provinces.

Toronto being a big city usually has a good mix of out of country/province vehicles, which is why an ontario vehicle without front plates can camouflage itself in the crowd.

However, there is no guarantee! In the end, when a cop wants to pull you over because he/she feels intimidated by your vehicle orr if you are driving rashly, its a TICKET
