This is exactly what I want to do to my set of 220M's. I have a Silverstone E92 as well and the previous owner seemed to have professionally painted the entire wheel to match the original grey color inside the spokes. However, the shade of gunmetal is a bit too light for my liking.

Would love to see more photos if you have them. I want to powdercoat mine a textured satin graphite.

My car came like that. The original owner had them professionally painted it looks like.

They are VERY close to BMW's ferric grau (A80); except a smidge lighter.

Has anyone ever seen a photo of satin silver or matte silver powder coated 220M wheels? I would think they would look classy.

These look great! I'm considering getting mine painted in gunmetal but I don't know which shade to get. Maybe a shade somewhere between your wheels and the OEM 219s.

I would go with bmw ferric grau a80, it's a tad darker than what I have and that way you can easily order touch-up paint.

Anyone running a square (rear) set-up using 220M's? I'd like to see a pic if you are. Thinking of getting another set of rears for up-front and running 275's all the way around...
