Which insurance company do you have? Did you contact them directly to file the claim or contacted Safelite and had them communicate with the insurance company?

Thanks

Nat Gen Premier. Called the claims number on my policy card, it gave me automated response to choose what type of claim, I chose windshield and it directed me to a specific insurance safelite line.

oooof big want on that upgraded windshield! looks amazing. Anyway's another option you can look into once you upgrade the windshield is to have it sealed with chemical sealant. I had my friend who owns a professional detail business do this to mine and this was his explanation, windshields like any surface are extremely porous and are not noticeable to the naked eye, what the coating does is fill in those pours and harden like an acrylic coating. Since doing this water does not stay on the windshield it simply beads off and seeing through the windshield is noticeably improved. look into it if you have time. I have also taken several flying rocks from the freeway and have yet to get another chip or crack

Garage List
Ceramic Coat the new windshield and all glass. Might even add a clear PPF. I think there are other 9H coatings to minimize rock chips on glass.

A new BMW OEM windshield only costs $300-400 plus Labor. Some P/N are discontinued.

What is the latest BMW P/N for a E90 M3 and E92/93 M3?

Cheers
