Just got my first M3, saying hello!
Hi all! Just wanted to introduce myself. Last week I picked up my first M3, an E90 6MT slicktop. It's my second M car, I previously had a Z4M that I had to give up after having kids. After 4 years of pining away for my last M, I was finally able to pull the trigger on this E90. I'm happy to report that I love it, haven't stopped smiling since I got it...and as a bonus I can get 2 car seats in the back for the little ones if needed!
Anyway, just wanted to say hello, glad to be a fellow M 3 owner! |

Well hello! Congrats and welcome, car looks great!
A similar move by me. We had our first child 6 months ago so I just decided to sell my E46M (which was my first M, and an S54!) for an E90M (slicktop!). My wife's car is the real diaper bomber so my swap wasn't necessary (and my wife told me not to sell the E46, for the record). I had a relationship with the E46 which will simply never be matched (maybe that's a good thing). Plus it was a Dinan S3 6MT, so it was faster and more fun too. But a carseat in the back of the E46 would have sucked, and the car was too mint/special to subject it to that anyway. I look forward to belting him into this thing and doing things together. These cars are incredible and the ease/time with my son with the 4 doors over the next few years is way more important. Last edited by wyatth; 09-08-2018 at 01:30 AM.. |

Welcome! I wonder why BMW never continued with this color on these cars until the F80 came out. Love it

Awesome pick up! Can't be the performance and comfort for of an e90 when you've got little ones! My son loves the sound of the s65 as much as I do probably.

Congrats on pretty rare config! I searched for a long time to find my e90 slicktop 6MT. They're pretty hard to find in good condition.
