Pretty sure no where else can you get on track 3x 20 minute sessions for $150.
We have some great afternoon days at the ridge for $200. 5 20min sessions and sometimes it ends up as 5 30min sessions if there is any rain in the forecast!

I believe the problem with TNIA is at the middle level - experienced/intermediate

Anyone can sign up for a TNIA event and say they are experienced/intermediate. (or Expert fo that matter) You have a bunch of people who think they can drive better than they can, which adds a lot of danger.

I personally am at the experienced/intermediate level, I am not worthy to claim expert, but I have personally dropped down to Novice level at a TNIA event and just lined up with in the first three cars and did not have any problem with waiting for point bys until lapping the back end of the train.

I would rather wait for point bys than deal with people almost hitting me at an intermediate level where they should not be anywhere near my car unless my arm is pointing out my window. Ask me how I know.
I had the opposite experience last time I did a TNIA event. Missed the first int session, so I ran with novice for a session. Asshat in a crapmaro would not let me pass for half the session...he motor’d me in the straights then I’d catch up and ride his ass in the corner. Every single driver I encountered in intermediate was courteous and gave points quickly.

it the trailhawk. comes with some stickers, skid plates, and rock rails. nothing that makes it more capable, really. we didn't specifically want this trim, its just what was available with the class 4 hitch and v8.

If it’s the same as in the Ram 1500, it’s an awful oil change. The filter is tucked pretty far out of reach above the front axle and it’s difficult changing it without a mess.

Montaver, SYT, or anyone else going to NJMP with NASA this weekend?

I'll be there both days. Hopefully I can get more comfortable in the car and find some pace.

Yes sir i'll be there, which car are you in? I'm in a space grey E90 with ZCP wheels and red harnesses. Picked up a Go Pro finally as well so looking forward to getting some footage! One of my throttle actuators went, new one going in today so should be all set.

NJMP not on the same level as the Glen but still a great track, last weekend of the season for me.

Depends on the local chapter and what kind of turn-out they get. From what I saw in the Dallas area, they have to keep the "needs instructor" list quite small.

Hey that’s me! Good to meet you b4hand - hopefully next time I see you out there both of us will be in our M3’s.

Think we are getting closer on the tune - hopefully won’t have to knock the boost down to 60% to make it through a session

On a side note I think we picked up a few sales of our custom strut tower brace

Lol this happened the first session. Guy in a C4 in front of me driving slow in the dead center of the track never gave a point by. I got lucky when he went straight off the track not braking for a corner. Then some guy in a caged 928 wouldn't point by the line of 6 cars behind him. I pitted and then went back out, enjoyed myself by not being held up for at least a couple laps. I was glad a friend told me about pitting if point bys weren't happening or I was stuck among a lot of cars. Made my experience MUCH better.

Needless the slower, troublesome guys were addressed pretty quick right after the first session and moved to the back of the starting grid.

These TNIA events are really "YMMV" -- I'm quite surprised the flagging stations and SCCA folks aren't coming down on people for being asshats. I'd be tempted to send the chapter president a note saying the event was run like shit and you won't be back, and that it will probably discourage others from trying it. TNIA is cheap track time, yes, but it's also a recruiting tool.
