Single Hump to Double Hump cost

Hey all. I have a 2008 Single Hump E92 M3. Im aware that the single hump is more “desireable” but coming from an E46 and E36 I wanted a car that felt a little more modern and I am not a fan of any of the double din units for single hump E92’s. And I am aware that people say the install is not super challenging but I do not have the time or patience to do that kind of work on my car so I was wondering if anyone ever had a shop do a CIC/Combox and Apple CarPlay retrofit into their single hump cars. If so, how much did it cost roughly. I’m aware the cost of some parts like the dash will vary but just looking for a very rough estimate. Thanks in advance!

You can probably find someone who will do a swap for their double hump with you.

I have a really nice double hump dash and console sitting in storage if you want to buy them and figure out how to ship them. No modules to go with it though.

I have done a handful of them in the past from start to finish including all of the electrical work and coding to an OEM standard.

I would personally charge about $1000 + parts to perform the swap if I was a shop doing this job. I personally would not do the swap unless you are going to fully DIY it.
