E92 Throttle Acutuators *MISFIRING*

Hey everyone!


my actuators recently went at 95k (both, smh).

I replaced both, but I'm still having mis firing on cyc5-8. It doesn't go into limp mode immediately, but it goes into limp mode after like 20-30 seconds of idle.

When I drive it (no stopping, highway etc) it doesn't go into limp mode. I turn it off and back on the limp mode goes away but the "increased emissions" logo appears still.

I have a Macht Schnell XPIPE with a CNT exhaust (no tune on car).

my mechanic says I need a tune, being catless is causing this. But I had this before on another m3 no tune and no problem.. just CEL light...

I'm really looking for some serious help here if anyone has run into this similar issue.

the only codes showing up on the OB scanner are the misfiring codes.. no throttle actuator codes anymore.

whether it needs it or not, just doing it can fix it.

who cares if it doesn't need it, it doesn't hurt to do it.

I assume you've checked spark plugs, coil packs, etc? That's the standard check with misfiring.

I also don't know how you do an x-pipe with the CNT exhaust. That thing is damn loud and super drone heavy! wow

Since I see a lot of people never giving an update,

*UPDATE*

It was a missing exhaust gasket from the header to exhaust. That was causing limp mode and bank b misfire. Wheeewwwww

Yes!! I was so close to getting rid of the car too.... thank god I figured out what was wrong... damn exhaust shop... smh.😊
