IPhone Mount (13' E92)

I tried to use the search function but it didn't seen to return much in the way of useful information and most of my google searches turned up threads that are 2-4 years old.

Wanted to know if there's a consensus on the best option(s) for phone mounts with or without charging functionality. I have a Magbak case currently but couldn't really identify any open section of the dash/cockpit where I'd like to place the little metal strip that works with the case.

Apologies in advance if this topic has been covered ad nauseam (recently) somewhere that I've missed. Feel free to link me to that discussion or reply here if you don't mind.

Cheers guys and have an awesome day.

Might not be exactly what you're looking for, but I went with the Induktiv Wireless Charger in a OEM storage tray and have been happy with it:

Thanks B8bydesign, I appreciate it. I'm hoping to finding something that will allow the screen to be semi-visible but I'll def keep this in mind. It's an interesting option.

I use one of these simple CD drive mounts for my phones. I change phones often so I wanted something universal and not phone model specific. I also have one of those Carplay/Android boxes with the usb cable coming out right by the mount, so it looks clean mounted here.

Only downside to mounting the phone here is it is in the way of the HVAC controls a bit. But I have no problem reaching behind the phone to control temp and what not.

I went through this too and just ended up using the magnetic vent holders, something like this:

I thought the CD mount was too low for my liking as I don't like having to lower my eyesight too much while driving.

Mounts behind the plate, completely oem looking. Mine has been superb. Just paired it with Spiegel wireless charger for iPhone.

Someone stole your radio and seat warmer buttons.

And I couldn't be bothered to line up the carbon weave to be directionally consistent. I'm an animal... :

Fortunately the stocks seats have been long gone. I'll keep the HVAC in place, but the individual audio stereo was ~30lbs of unnecessary weight.

I also got the rennline iphone mount, I love it! I personally not a fan of vent phone mounts or anything on the windshield but the positioning and look of the rennline iPhone mount makes it look oem.

Edit:

I realized I never competed my thought, work calls lol. I'll post pics tomorrow
