The VINTAGE in Asheville Area this year
This is a heads up for fellow M3 owners that the classic BMW event has been moved for 2016 to Hot Springs, just north of Asheville. It's a three day affair but the main show is on Saturday and could make for a nice day outing with a drive in the mountains.

Thanks for the reminder. I'm planning on driving in for it. Still debating whether to take the 2002Tii or the M3. Not sure I'm up for a 12 hr drive in the Tii but we'll see. And it's likely not up to the standards of the cars that will be there...

But coming from your direction I think I would enjoy the back roads into Hot Springs. BTW- I haven't explored this area much since there are such splendid roads in the southern Blue Ridge. I look forward to having a BMW overload in May.
