Matches up as the "special" M 50th anniversary vehicle for next year (2022). For all you that want the G81 touring, here it is, the XM— but starting at $140k USD. 🤮

Agree, it looks ghastly, even in camo. I know there are body panels attached to the front end of the vehicle, but the thing looks like a damn truck in these photos, and not in a good way. And this is supposed to be the premiere M standalone vehicle

If it's an electric one, then you get an extra large front storage unit.

Car in the picture is a hybrid model. Plus if the iX is any indication, BMW likely won't be giving their EV's frunks.

I saw that only the roundel opens to fill the windshield washer fluid

When I found out the pop up roundel wasn't a place to plug in I was devastated

Still very interested in the X8/XM/G09/whatever the final name will be.

Not sure about these pictures, but there's still so much we haven't seen or learned.

Remember, The X8 is not a coupe version of the X7. First BMW of the generation to be built from the ground-up.

Really, really hope they do it right and make a good product. If I can afford it, I'll do it.

The camo is really good at disguising what's really there. Not a single render of this or the next 7er are remotely accurate.

I think it highly depends on how much cocaine you've had lately

I'd say LSD is more likely every time I see one of those ghastly renderings.

Although I am enjoying the fact that because of The 4 and the M3 and M4...There are individuals who believe that the company shows defiance to actually approve what is shown in both renders of 7 and X8.

I think you're giving far too much credit to the 4er/M3/4 for personal gullibility.

On a related note...

The number of interns and freelance designers is a bit out of hand; especially when most are bouncing from studio to studio.
