Cost of full vehicle wrap in different locales:
Hi Guys,
I am interested in wrapping my car and received a quote for $3000.00 Canadian dollars ($1000 for the vinyl and $2000 for labour) for supply and install of 3M or Avery from two reputable local shops. That is roughly $2100.00USD I am curious to what a wrap cost in the USA and Canada in different states and provinces, let me know what you guys have paid or have been quoted for wraps. Cheers |

Here in Southern California the wrap quotes range. I've seen quotes as low as $1500 and as high as $3500. Average price is between $2500-$3000 for better shops here that will actually use knifeless tape and remove panels.

Any sort of work that requires labour in my home market is always super expensive so I am glad to hear the numbers I am getting are sort of middle of the road especially compared to California. I would have thought it would be a lot less expensive in Cali...

Are you talking about a colour wrap or PPF?
If you have a quote for full car with PPF that's dirt cheap in the Canadian market. I would want confirmation whether it's a computer cut edge to edge or is it custom full wrapped edges. Are the removing roundels, side gills etc or are they cutting around them.. Full car custom PPF in Toronto is closer to $5G from a good installer. The installer makes a HUGE difference in the final product.

In my neck of the woods, Hampton Roads area, Southeast Virginia From $1k to $4k, depending mostly on the vinyl and how much of the car gets taken apart. Both my cars were $1.8k a piece including carbon fiber roofs but no door jambs. Bumpers, mirrors, shark fins, door handles off the car. Vinyl was Avery.

My buddy own's a shop that does car wraps, one of the best shop in Vancouver. They always remove bumpers, door handles, side mirrors, lights, all emblems and all trims. They tuck everything in behind all the panels so you'll never see edges. For a m3 they'll charge about $3000 to start and upwards of $5000 if you want all jambs wrapped too. |

My brother and I wrapped our E90 over winter with a buddy who has done many cars.
After that, we had to pay for it to get PPF on the whole front of the car as wraps will get punctured just by looking at them. I love the new look but wonder if I should have just gotten it painted. |
