Wheel swap 19 to 18

I am in the market for a slightly used M3 convertible. Most of the wheels I have seen are the 19" style 220. I actually like the 18" gunmetal 219 more. Correct me if I am wrong, these are cheaper wheels.
Should I hold out for the perfect combo or would it be easy to trade 19s for 18s?
Hint a dealer would swap them out if he had another M3 with the wheels I want?

I think you may find someone to trade for the 219m, but you can always just buy a set as well for around 800-1000

I would not let the wheels be a deciding factor.

I am with you and find the 18s more appealing for many reasons, but a lot of people disagree with us. Be more selective in other areas, the wheels can be changed very easily. People are selling them on these very boards all the time and you may be able to find someone who will trade with you locally.

Yup, don't let it be a deciding factor. Somebody will trade with you in a day for the 19's 220M wheels. I agree with you though, the 18's are more desirable over 220M wheels, but not so over the 359M wheels.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I'm at the bank selling my 07 750i sport. Going straight to rental car for a drive to Atlanta to look at 5 or 6. Fingers crossed I'll be back into a convertible M car soon. Sold my Z4M 6 months ago and regretted it ever since!
