I for one am excited about this. And I don't mind a little waiting. Most of the people on this forum should understand how exciting waiting for something you greatly anticipate can be.
Though, when did this forum become such whiny bitches about everything? I miss the M3post of old. Hence why I don't really spend as much time up here as I use to. Savage's input is greatly missed so its a nice treat when he drops by, especially with new info. PS: Savage, I remember your first photos and the video. Your photo in front of the 2 planes is still one of my favorites.

Savage,
Not sure why all the haters here. I think you did a great job setting the scene and building suspense. It's like a nicely wrapped present under the Christmas tree that we have to wait to open. Whether we get the Red Ryder BB gun or tube socks, its that anticipation that's the best part. Even the haters agree, nine pages of response in three days - impressive. Man, I hope I don't get tube socks again. |

ahhhh....the suspense...love it. Perhaps the greatness of the CSL is upon us, not that it matters as I live in the US...but it will be awesome to see!! Nov 3rd - 8th is next week.....savage way to spruce up my week!! hahaha.

I wonder if this is the 600hp car that LeMans Blue M was talking about though? I hope not. This is just a one off - I was hoping for some production car news.
Edit: Based on what southlight in post #46, assuming he and LMB M were talking about the same thing, this is indeed the car. Oh well. Now I just hope that savage.ulm1's source was not confused, and was actually thinking of this car as well. Quote:

This will be such a bummer if its not something cool and M3 related, I was trying not to chime into this thread, because than I'll get all the email notifications and the suspense will get me as well
If its a CSL I don't mind if we don't get it as long as a vendor over seas gets on it with bringing all the parts to the aftermarket, although they will come with a heavy price tag I would pick up some of the items |

I was sort of wondering if that was the case already footie... I still think it will be non-US though. And more than likely it is just a road-going GT4-cum-CSL with no/few engine mods, meaning no OEM power-adding parts for regular M3 owners to pick from as well. Hope I'm wrong on all accounts though.
