Not just another Manual vs DCT Thread (Medical Issue)

I've been on the fence about manual vs DCT for a while and have read most of the threads that both are found in search and those that spring up.

My question deals with the Heel Toe shift. Basically my tibia is at a 45 degree angle (tibia torsion) and the ability to perform this maneuver is somewhat hindered. It's possible, but highly impractical due to the strain it causes and I don't even know if a pedal extension like those found on the forum would help.

I wanted to ask: If the ability to perform a heel-toe becomes too difficult, or am unable to accomplish in general, is it still worth getting an 6MT? Even if I am going to be taking the M School Classes and going to tracks? Or would DCT be something that, due to said medical issue, would work out better since it automatically performs a heel-toe when you shift? Can I still be competitive if I can't perform that maneuver?

I'm not really bias towards one or the other at this point. I just want as much information as I can get before I go in for a purchase.

Thanks everyone.

Get the DCT so you won't have to worry. I bet you'll like it very much also.

On track heel toe does become vital to keep the car stable and prolong engine life.

I appreciate it. I guess I have just had to deal with so many purists that I felt bad for even thinking about getting the DCT.

I don't think even the worst DCT haters are so petty as to attack someone for buying one because of a medical reason. That's crossing the line between "purist" and "douchebag"
