Doing spark plugs tomorrow. Come hang out.

I'm in Kenmore WA. Come hang out or stop by to say hi.
Weather is supposed to be nice. I'll provide beer/cider/soda/snacks.
Should have all the necessary tools, including the coil puller.
Will probably start around 11.

Doing the job for the first time, so could use some guidance, but I'm sure I'll manage.

PM for details!

Eight of us meeting up in Florida for a run. We could veer off and head your way.

Do you guys just floor it on I-95 and call it a run? Or are there roads with turns in Florida?

Zing!

Crap I need my spark plugs changed. Between not having the parts, tools temporarily in storage, and busy all day tomorrow... guess it won't work for me. Make sure you get out and drive some after the change because the weather is going to be PERFECT.

If you want to push it a week or two I'm game. Let me know.

Nah go ahead. I'm wrapped up in buying a house/moving and my weekends are slammed. I'm gonna have Group 2 do plugs and diff fluid when I figure out the time.

This is the first time I have ever seen Florida being accused of not being country. I'm with Transfer put us in group 2 also. Should we dress for the rain?

make sure you twist the coils a bit to try and break the seal before you use the coil puller tool. They can be suctioned in pretty hard, and the coil puller will just break off the top of the coil when you pull.

Ask me how I know.

Also if you don't mind the look, leave the plastic coil covers off for ease of access next time. I have to replace my plugs every 10k since I have a blower, and it takes under an hour.

I'm in Kenmore too.

What model ///M do you have, maybe I've seen you around? I've got an Interlagos Blue E90.

The job wasn’t bad. I’ll post in the DIY thread about the contraption I used to pull the coils 4 and 8. I took my time and spent about 3 hours.

@jiggz I have a white ‘12 e92 ZCP. I don’t think I’ve seen you around. I live in Arrowhead.

Right on, we're pretty close. I'm on the north side of Bothell Way, up in the Shelton View area (1/2 way between Kenmore and Canyon Park). I'll keep an eye out
