Read what I typed again; sport mode is not faster than NORMAL mode on the track, in fact it is most often slower. Ask any BMW driving instructor and they will confirm it.

I was under the impression that the terms were comfort, sport, and track, when they are actually comfort, normal, and sport. I would agree that sport will not maintain the proper traction on many track surfaces. |

I think the point from Singletrack is (and one I believe myself) is that EDC = Normal will be faster on all rough tracks and most "medium rough" tracks. However, on a very smooth track I'd place my money on the EDC = Sport. The only direct BMW quote I have heard is the Normal mode is faster on the Nordschliefe and that track is pretty tough on suspensions.

At this point both of us are really only speculating since we both only have hunches and no data. Even testing this proposition would be difficult as other variations would trump this fairly small effect. I wish you comfort in your absolute certainty.

I was just driving my car last week in California, and I still think the RD chassis kit is great. No issues or complaints at all, and the performance is significantly better compared to the stock car. Everyone who has driven my car has had nothing but praise for the suspension, so for what it's worth I'm not the only one who thinks highly of it.

I didn´t know you had asked. but the engine mods alone including headers and downpipes etc... good for 530bhp is about 33,000 list price. Everything else is additional like wheels, tires, brakes, interior, sway bars, batteries, spoilers, spring, SSK, you name it. Some items if not all are available at cost if you get the engine.

Calm down, I don't check this thread constantly to answer every single question. As I said before, contact RD directly for more information. I purchased quite a few things at one time from them and don't recall individual pricing on all the parts, and I'm not even sure where the invoice for this kit is.

I believe you can find out how much it lowers the the car on their website. Its the same as just their lowering springs because they use the same springs.

The RD Sport Chassis kit lowers the car 1.2" in the front, and 1.0" in the rear.

Their website does not list the accurate drop front and rear.

There is something visually amiss in the second set of pics. To me when not paying attention it comes across as a run of the mill 3 series coupe. I think it the wheels that's taking the edge off this car or the drop which in my opinion is too much. It may be just me.
