Clear Bra Recommendation?
Hey guys,
I'm looking to do a full wrap with something like suntek or xpel. Has anyone here done something similar? If so, where did you go and was it worth the cost? Only quote I've gotten so far is 6k.

Clearguard Nano. I've had it for over a year and it still looks as good as new. It's the most optically clear film in the market, almost zero texturing, just lots and lots of gloss. Self healing too, I've seen bird poo etching dissappear after a 24 hours.
But at those prices, you really need to take care of your paint protection film. If you're not one to worry about the cleanliness of your car I wouldn't do it. |

I had a 911 done at Highline, and no regrets, but when 503 redid the front bumper after a scratch, there was a difference in install quality. For my E90, I'd use Highline. It's white and the difference wouldn't be worth 2k$ to me. The fabric they use is pretty much all "par" whether its Suntek or Expel Ultimate or whatever. |

I'd vote xpel after seeing it on friend's cars.
Roadrunner Film and Graphics (Dave Ball is the owner), 503 Motoring, TCT Wraps, or PDX Wraps have all done good work that I've seen, and I'd trust any of them. Of those, 503 and Roadrunner tend to get the higher end stuff, Dave @ Roadrunner is constantly putting xpel on new Ferraris, Lambos, etc. TCT or PDX Wraps will be cheaper but nearly as good. |

Thanks for the info guys! I think I'm going to go the Suntek route because the consensus is that it looks better on black cars and is slightly harder. The hydrophobic quality of Suntek will be nice as well. Since I don't track I don't mind giving up a little bit of protection advantage that you get from Xpel.
