Feeler: Akrapovic Slip-on ONLY trade
Hello, so I got my akrapovic system about a month ago and installed it on my car, it's been on for about 1500 miles. Pretty much brand new. I kinda want something louder, personally for me it's too "quiet" for others it may be perfect. If anyone has a Meisterschaft GT or GT2 exhaust that wants to swap with me send me a private message. We can work out a deal, I'm located in Los Angeles. Just to clarify the confusion. That mid pipe you see In the picture is a Macth schnell xpipe and is NOT for sale. This is NOT the Evo system, just a slip-on that is all. |

haha, I had the same complaint!! and had nearly the same setup... I went with Eisenmann Race and love it!!! highly recommend it if you want a little louder. GT HOUSE may be too loud

My Meisterschaft GT2 Titanium was great for short trips but after 20 minutes or so, I had a hard time with the drone. I sold it to a friend and now I am going the Akrapovic route next year when she comes out of hibernation

I guess it wouldn't be for everyone, I personally don't mind drone as much. I don't drive the car on a daily basis only once in a while. But if drone is what your worried about and want just a little kick in noise then yes Akrapovic is the way to go!

If you want more noise out of the Akra, get a midpipe that is catless and no resonators. It's muchhhh louder and has some slight drone. There is also a bit of rasp between 2k-2500 rpm.

costs a lot great weight savings maybe when I'm older and want my car to sound stock again I'll get it haha however with your setup it wasn't too bad I'm sure. I ran it catless and sounds good that way, I liked it, once you cat your car even with HFC this thing is too quiet for me..

Have you heard the second gen ACTIVE AUTOWERKE cat back? A lot louder than the Akra with very little drone. It's very sharp and raspy and I love it. Check this out.

it does drone when you're running it with catless x pipe, I ran it with catless AA x pipe and droned pretty bad. Once I installed a catted evolve x pipe it doesn't drone much at all.. it's very tolerable and beautiful sound!!

I only heard Dinan in person once but Akra catless sounds awesome!!
Catless sounds really good. It's on the quieter side but very good quality sounds and never any drone! I really enjoyed running it, just for me it didn't sound loud enough with HFC and evolve X pipe... it sounds amazing when youre outside the car but not all that much inside.. maybe because it's on the quieter side and no drone... I do like to hear exhaust when I drive tho... this is all so subjective and everyone will like something different... my most honest recommendation is to hear it in person.. go to meets and find something you really like. especially that akra is 2600 usually..
