I almost always take a pic of the odometer but this time I was in a rush and forgot. But the invoice “mileage in” listing and what was on it when I got it is 18mi. the trip odometer had 4.5mi so it’s def at least that. I’d hate to accuse someone if it’s my oversight but all signs seem to be pointing to them screwing around. Plus they had my car overnight without calling me with that heads up

Beemer tech's make good $, plus our m's are old hat and they get access to faster cars regularly, I think you have to give them the benefit of the doubt. I got new wheels and tires mounted the other day and one of the seals on the valve stems leaked so I had to wait for the tire dude to redo it and in doing so he put a nice 1" gash on a brand new painted barrel scraping off the freshly installed weight. It was visible and towards the outside of the wheel and I too didn't know if I should be pissed or not. I touched it up and moved on I figure the stress over the little things isn't worth it but maybe I'm a pushover.

I feel more confident this year working on the car also. I'll definitely be addressing the major things now. DCT pan sweat leak and valve cover gaskets. I just think a lot of people don't document what goes on, meanwhile I like to post about every little thing I'm doing Also are you going to Leavenworth this year?

Changed the oil and oil level sensor. The window in the aluminum 'plate' just barely interferes with pulling the sensor out. Had to loosen the bolts holding the plate in order to pull the sensor out. Seems the BMW engineers needed to due some maintenance tasks before they approved the final design.
