Any way to tell if car was previously tuned?

Hey guys! I got my 08 E92 recently, and I was hoping to see if there was a tune already on it. I am curious because my friend has an almost identical setup and he says mine feels more responsive.

I've done some digging and can't find a definitive answer. Some people say to call tuners and see if they did it, but I was hoping maybe there's a better way.

Thanks, hope everyone is staying healthy and safe!

Not sure 100% on this but Alex from Alpine stated if the car starts in D2 mode it might have a tune?

That would only indicate a GTS tune in the DCT, totally unrelated to an engine tune.

It could also just have updated oem software.

If the redline was ever raised it will show in the data on the ecu.
