Step 1, contact your bank and have them reverse the funds on the charge.

Step 2, contact paypal, let them know of the situation and that you issued the charge back. open a claim and work like normal.
i contacted paypal but they refused to open a claim as it was a gift and there is no buyer protection offered. I did however contact my bank and began the process.

Once you open the process with the bank- PayPal will have no choice but to investigate. Trust me- I have done it 3-4 times and it has worked out.

Even if you sent as gift, you can pursue with your Bank.

Easier if the payment was tied to a Credit Card.

Even more of a reason to contact your credit card co. or Paypal depending on how the transaction went through. I bet you will get a response then.

You know they've seen this... How can they just sit there quietly after lying blatantly? A reputable shop at that!

thats pretty jacked up selling some beat to shit wheels and posting a pic from when they were new.

op, if you do keep them for whatever reason, use sonax full effect wheel cleaner. you can get it from autogeek. the best stuff for wheel grime.

I had a very similar experience with this vendor for a different item i Purchased. (ESS550 Kit) Took them longer than I would expect a shop to ship the product out and I ended up spending more money to replace parts i was told were good. And to add insult to injury the parts were packaged like shit; loosely thrown into the box with packing peanuts inside the manifold. Had I not borescoped the manifold for packing peanuts and vacuumed them out the car would have ingested them and likely caused significant damage to my engine. Not very responsive once the transaction has been completed and funds paid. I could go on and on and present details but I figured I would just give a lil feedback myself.

Has anyone ever really calculated PayPal fees? http://thefeecalculator.com/

Generally, the fee is minimal, with exception to this one ($4500). It's an extra $134...I'd say, split that cost with the seller so at least you're protected. And for $4500, with the condition of the wheels you got, shamefully that's overpriced.

Tough to hear this about Alekshop, I've read they've been reputable too. I actually picked up a camera and module from their shop about a month ago; never got around to installing it though.

Best of luck,

.ck

Some people have had problems with the camera too.

Sorry to hear. I'd understand if it was maybe a little curb rash, but how can anyone possibly think it's OK to send wheels looking like that, and with that kind of damage?

I've really lucked out on these forums and have never had 1 bad experience, but this is just scary. Hope it all works out for you

Did some debris get stuck between the caliper and barrel of the wheel? I know that happens with some folks who run smaller wheels on-track and have BBKs.

Are the scrapes identical on the other wheel? If so, that probably just means there was poor clearance to the caliper. If not, then probably just gravel that was wedged in there.

I am on the same boat, ordered the front/rear cameras and emails after emails just wanting an update of when it will be shipped since it's been over a week now, I am getting ignored. Don't really want to go through with dispute without hearing from them but I am losing patience. If anyone go by their shop, please help us send a message!
