ABS malfunction warning

Came on today all of sudden. No problems. Just bunch of brake lights on and says don't break hard. 23k on the car.

had this happen on the 1M. ABS and Traction control lights come on.
Was a faulty sensor .

Had the same issue... Came on about a year back after I hit a pothole in heavy rain... after going to two service departments ended up being a faulty sensor as well. Dont worry too much

Did it happen on initial startup? Could also be a discharged battery. If it did, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock and cycle the key/restart the car. If the lights go out, that's it. That procedure calibrates the steering angle sensor for the traction control and cures the issue, if indeed that's what it is. Then you'll know you are due for a battery replacement if that's the case.

had this happen after skid pad use one time. few key cycles and all was good.

It went away for two days on its own but today while driving on highway it turned on again and has stayed on. And I did feel it turn on going 70.
