Trying to gauge what the typical wear on these is so decided to create the thread. Please post a response or add to the poll.

Thanks everyone

Their lifespan is significantly shorter if you track with mdm.

Mine have been amazing. Bought a used set and the rotors are still going great, even after 3 sets of 1.11 pads.

I'd be shocked to see if anyone swaps out with fewer than 20 days on them.

This is going to be at least: pad, car, driver pace, session duration, track, and wear tolerance (how soon you feel it's critical to replace) dependent.

Too many variables to draw any meaningful conclusions.

I've always cracked them in less than 8 days. Mdm, nt01's or dh's, and tryna go fast.

Pad choice has a huge impact on disc life. Some pads just chew thru rotors.

This.

Too many variables for any info you get to be relevant to how and where you drive, pads you use, braking style etc etc etc.

8 days?? 25+ for me. I'm still on the original rear rotors almost 90 track days later!

This is very satisfying. This thread was making me paranoid. I had never heard of rotors lasting 8 days and we know you hammer your car hard.

I wonder how much MDM has to do with it.

Mark this as the first time I've heard of someone making it a standard practice to run DH's at the same time as DSC.

Individual results will vary, but mdm doesn't make me faster.

Also tryna go fast and MDM doesn't make much sense.

DSC off was worth about 1.5-2 seconds over the weekend for me, must've clicked the mdm button on my wheel instead of my DSC off button on the wheel. Looked down and wondered WTF was going on as I thought i had DSC off. Clicked it off and just frees up the car so much.

1-2 seconds a lap is what I've found DSC off to be worth as well. But you've got to be able to throttle steer and the rest of it to see it make a difference.

Also, if DSC off turns you into a scared boy, the result will not likely be faster. It all starts with the "mentals"
