Have been contemplating doing this since I saw a FB post about it this week.

Did you order a spare plenum for this project or do it to the one on your car?

Trying to gauge the potential of me ruining my plenum and needing to order a replacement while trying this.
I ordered a spare plenum on eBay for $150 just in case I messed up, but it is fairly forgiving since you can cut a little more or sand it smooth. Just cut less than you think so you can make adjustments. I plan on keeping the spare plenum for smog checks in California. They probably won't pass a modded plenum lol.
I bet they would pass it due to pure ignorance.

Wow is it actual glass? Or some type of polycarbonate plexiglass?

How do you adhere it to the plenum?

Edit: Found a video on Youtube that shows how to do it, and parts list…

Is the same procedure you followed?

Yea, E6000 glue and 1/32 Lexan polycarbonate glass does the trick. You can always use plastic rivets for extra strength.

One guess...

In addition, new tie rods, various fluids, and then upon it's return, new oil separators a new fuel tank breather, and a tune from Alpine.

It's never run better!

Happy to oblige! The color/weave match is surprisingly good for being two completely different offerings. I'm happy with the fitment of the aFe. The only knock is it's a smidge too large around where the airbox meets the elbow making it a tight fit.

That a bimmer? Shapes reminds more about a US designed car. Big market there so why not. Current M3 will most probably be my last bimmer anyway...

Sad the the M division is focusing on a cross over rather than a sports car. But that is likely where the market is. Profile sort of looks like the old Isuzu Axiom or the Land Rover Evoq.

LOL… no unfortunately I found the flyer long after the BBQ was over haha

I could just picture some lady shoving flyers into people's air intakes though, clever
