key fob issue only opening the trunk works

Hey i have an 2008 M3. One day i went to get a haircut the car locked came back and it didnt want to open. I use they key to open the door. The only thing that works and I replaced a new battery is the button to open the trunk.

This is the only fob I have.

I checked all the fuses related to this.

Would this be an antenna issue? and how would i know if its my antenna?
if the trunk open i assume it works.

thanks. trying to avoid paying 200-400 for a new fob.

after messing with it. added some paper in the fob to add pressure against the battery. it works now. I noticed the top unlock button i have to press really hard on the very bottom of silver top arrow button where it boarders the black plastic.

seems like it might be a weak antenna issue.
I might try a cheap one from ebay and report back if any new improvement.
