Engine ticking at cold start

hello everyone, for several weeks I can hear an engine tick for the first few seconds when starting. Sometimes more or less strong and for a longer or shorter time. Do you have an idea of the problem ? My car has 125kkm with a melody without cold start procedure

Are you supercharged?

It's hard to hear the ticking noise, but if you record closer to the passenger/driver side wheel wells, we'd be able to hear it better.

I hear a few things:

continuous high pitched whine that sounds like a supercharger.

A continuous and quiet high pitched sound that sounds like a failing pulley bearing

And a few seconds of high pitched tapping. That may be the pulley bearing too

I am N / A. the high-pitched whistle comes from my oil pump according to my preparer but does not present any risk. The ticking is not much on the video, looks like a hydraulic lifter. I will make the best video

you can hear it about 5 seconds after booting in the video. sometimes longer

Pop the hood and investigate the drive belts and all accessories on them. Most likely the tick you hear (I didn't hear) is a worn belt, weak tensioner or failed PS or AC or alt. You would need to pinpoint as we cannot with this video. Have you ever done your belts & pulleys in the past? Pretty easy to do yourself if it's just belts and pulleys.

That sounds like a vanos starved for oil at the beginning and it goes away once oil flows. Kinda common amongst our higher mileage cars. I've been told the only fix is to replace both vanos gears. I have always wondered if there is a failed check valve that could be replaced though.

i think scrippy is just saying. I hear it not from the sides but from the front of the car. I want to upgrade to 5w50 Redline to stop the noise. What do you think ?
