Solid rear subframe bushings: Turner or Precision Works:
Hi guys
I'm willing to buy Solid rear subframe bushings in order to reduce some wheel hop. My car's bushings are 12 years old, may be very tired, so if I'm gonna change I'll go with the stiffer ones. So, on ebay, Precision Works bushings are $250, while on ECS, Turner bushings are $302. Is it okay to go with PW? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Solid-Rear-...8606%7Ciid%3A1 |

These really are a no brainer part. Just get whichever is cheapest (as long as they fit well).

I got mine from Bimmerworld when they were on sale for like $250 I think. Turner was sold out at the time but I would've went with the cheapest one anyway. The hard part is getting them installed, but once they're in they're fantastic. The rear feels so good easily one of my best mods I've gotten for this car.

Does anyone have any experience with the revshift aluminum bushings? they look like they are easier to install because they come in 2 pieces instead of 1.

I cant speak to their solid rear subframe bushings, but have ordered parts from them before that simply did not work and they refused to return the product. It's a business I would never use in the future. And they were local to me at the time.

Not sure. I figured it would be installed similar to how one piece bushings are installed, however, I thought it would be slightly easier to install because you do not have to press the bushing in as far due to it being 2 pieces.

Youll need a press with either. If you do them by hand I would recommend using dry ice to freeze them and make sure you have 3-4 bushing tools available as you will break or strip them. Solid aluminum bushings have zero tolerances and are an extreme PITA.
