Anyone with Catless X-Pipe in CT?

I'm thinking about going with a catless x-pipe to go with my rear section exhaust. I most definitely want the sound but don't know about the smell. Anyone local in CT that has one? If someone would be willing to meet up so I could get an idea of just how intense the smell is that would be great!

I have a my cats removed but added two resonators because I didn’t want it too loud . The smell is not too bad but I’ve heard depending on the exhaust it could be a bit raspy .

I'm 100% getting one with resonators. Don't want to go overkill on rasp. I had an active autowerke rear section I just switched out with a valvetronic one. I should be alright in term of overall volume. If the odor isn't too bad it's a fair compromise to make to attain the sound I want.

I'm catless now, it's not that bad. I'm in Jersey if you ever in the area

I am cat less and not liking it much. I think its bc of my parking setup. After i pull the car out, i have to go behind the car to lock the gate and the smell sticks to my clothes 😔

yes, my m3 is the same. i have to back into my garage spot due to space. when i start the car i pull it out immediately, but still stinks up my garage something fierce. also after i pull the car in the garage and shut it off, just moving stuff around in the garage before going in the house my clothes already stink of exhaust fumes.

This is something else I have to take into consideration. Honestly didn't even think about that... I may just end up going with test pipes and keeping my stock secondary cats and resonators in place. That might just give me enough of the sound I'm looking for without the smell. That way no issues in the garage or anywhere else.

I have my primaries removed and the smell is not bad overall, but cold starts, and tight spaces will be noticeable. Ie in a garage, leaving car idle in your driveway and standing next to car.

My opinion is that these drawbacks are annoying 1% of the time driving the car and totally worth the other benefits because there are so few times where I even notice it.
