E92 M3 Front Splitter Recommendations

I've a work in progress. Put on the Akrapovic Slip-on, Dinan Cold are and ECU upgrade. So far extremely pleased. I was wondering about a front end splitter and rear diffuser. Any suggestions in terms of from whom and what. I've taken an online look at ACS and Vorsteiner and would like something that works as well as has some asthetic appeal. Any suggestions?

+1 to get the most info before pulling the trigger.

FWIW, I've installed the VRS front lip personally on a customer vehicle and the fit/finish is really something to admire.

It uses 3M double sided tape in addition to self tapping screws.

Feel free to shoot me a PM/email or call if you had any other questions.

You already have a good eye for the best in quality parts - look no further than the Challenge GTS Front lip:

The Challenge pieces us the 3M adhesive tape (included) existing OEM screws and do not require drilling or self-tapping. These have been getting snatched up quicker than they can arrive here in Southern California.

How do you guys drive around with these lips? I occasionally scrape without a lip and moderately lowered. I love the look, but just think it'll get trashed.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

+1

I held off on buying a front lip for a long time since I couldnt come to love any of them. I ended up eventually buying the Performance splitters.

If I did not have the splitters, the Challenge lip is the only one I would go for

Its rare to see any lip spoiler without a little chin music underneath from driveways, usually its undetectable from outside.

Yep, but still it hurts me on the inside to hear that dreaded scraping noise, even if you can't see it...I know it's there and it prevents me sleeping at night.

Luckily, my front lip has yet to observe any major scrapage...yet.

rdvs-can,

I'll give you a few good reasons for ARKYM Carbon Front Lip and why it's wait listed to a few weeks out.

Johnny's Straight Carbon Finish One from Seattle

Bunnn's Molded One from Canada

VMR's Showcar from Own Studio Shots

All really great info. Really do appreciate the input. The ARKYM is right in there but, is probably one of the more expensive units out there.

Authentic lips are not cheap. The Challenge lip is 100% true carbon fiber, unlike some carbon laminate competitors. You get what you pay for...
