Tune gains for stock cars on 91octane gas?
A lot of dyno numbers that I've seen so far were on cars running on 93 octane plus gas + test pipes.
Any dyno numbers out there of a stock car on 91octane gas? Thanks! |

I'm sure you could search and find stock numbers. A lot of folks will post stock numbers as well as after tune numbers for comparison.

Check a number of our threads for dynos, since we only get 91 in CA.

http://www.s65dynos.com Click "find all stock cars" -- to find all stock cars. Then type "91" in the search window to isolate to 91 octane. Then you can "Reset all filters" and start comparing various mods to stock. |

Don't expect a lot. BMW really didn't leave a lot of performance on the table with the S65, especially the late models with newer software. If you go for a tune, I would recommend someone that can also tune your DCT and servo as well.

IDK why you would tune a stock car…. just to fvck with your warranty and OEM engine guidelines. I mean, dafuq m8?

Tuning would be most benificial with other modifications like a cat delete, rear exhaust, filter.
Here is what you Can expect with all of the above. Full bolt on Pulley only Last edited by SflBimmer8484; 02-28-2014 at 02:24 PM.. |

I assume the FBO M3 had a filter as well? I did not see it listed on the dyno sheet. Definitely shows the value of going FBO if you are going to tune. I personally would not tune if I was going to leave the primaries in place.
