I want to lower my M3. Which spring is lower. Or what is the order of highest to lowest?

Eibach? RD? H&R? Stock ZCP?

Highest to lowest amount of drop you mean, right? That order is in lowest to highest ride height, so just clarifying.

Everyone seems to forget B&G springs. I'd put them in between H&R and RD springs in terms of drop height. I have them on my ZCP and they look and ride greeeat!

my H&Rs look lower than the B&Gs. That said, i like the height of those...how's the ride at high speeds? What bumpstops did you use? Stock ZCPs?

Lowered How Much?

What is the estimated lowering ride height (in inches) front and rear from ZCP's to H&R"s?
Thanks....

Most owners of H&R's ive spoken to have negative comments on the performance of the springs, especially at high speeds. Your taking a 70k car that's consistently praised for its handling characteristics and changing it? Our struts and shocks cannot handle aggressive drops over inch or you will be bouncing off the bump stops. Keep the drop minimal...Eibach or Dinan, use M E36 bumpstops and call it a day. If your tracking the car, coilovers or Dinan stage 3

I run the Eibachs with e36 bump stops and shaved mounts to retain the oem travel. I got a 19mm drop on the front with a 14mmm on the rear.

As above, the standard car rides about 15mm from the bump stops. Even the eibachs will bottom out if you don't do the bumps or mounts.

I installed Eibach pro kit yesterday with the stock bump stops. The drop is really subtle, and i don't think a non-enthusiast would even notice it's dropped. Maybe they need to settle in, but i'm still satisfied with the look if they don't. As for the ride, all i can say is that i was really surprised! The car felt SO much better to drive. I took some high speed turns and the car is noticeably flatter around corners. I also think that it feels more comfortable to drive in comfort mode than stock springs? ...I feel it became less bouncier and more 'cushiony' but still firmer.

Overall, I am really happy with how the ride feels and the improvement in handling.

would you say that your handling is positively/negatively affected?

I have never been in an m3 with eibach or b&g, but I have with H&R and RD and both handle noticeably worse than stock. I have also heard numerous people complain of the poor handling after installing these springs. I don't get why people destroy the handling of a car whose best feature is its handling With that said, I am really curious about the eibach and b&g... Esp since your stance looks so good in your pics...

The H&Rs will give you a more aggressive drop (no fender gap) and the Eibachs are a little less (1 finger gap).

Im still Torn! so the eibachs arent really much lower but car still handles great. The RD's and H&R are lowest but affects the handling? I dont want a gap but dont want to affect the handling.

Yes i know coilovers is the way to go but i cant afford that for at least 6 months.
