Went exploring around some quiet beaches. Hard to do w/ Jersey Shore summers. Slowly turning this into an OEM+ build that I've always wanted as a kid seeing these cars come in brand new on M3Post (hard to believe its been that long). Slowly appreciating the incremental improvements

BBS RIA + ST40s

This is correct. My understanding is that people rebuilt them and I would like to see the samples of them on E9X M3

Thank you for posting that. I like it a lot and it’s different. Did you have them rebuilt or purchased them already done?

I had Mark Perrault source and rebuild these. He can find pretty much everything as long as you are patient. This is the second set he's built for me and he's done countless other builds for forum members here.

I second this- he is hands down “The Guy” to find and build your set. PM me if you’d like his contact info.

Not sure I see the logic behind rebuilding a 20 year old wheel that's been through god knows what. BBS wheels are fantastic but everything eventually fatigues. I get doing so for a historic car of the era, but not for a more modern car like the e9x.

Mostly for the looks, as many owners including myself don’t track the car. Wheels like E88s are great overall performer but they became very common on these platforms. If someone is looking for unique and rare factor...rebuilt BBS RS for example will fit that criteria perfectly.

Lmao, the E88 is the most sex wheel they’ve made in modern history. If you’re really mostly for looks, then your missing this opportunity. Ferrari, Porsche, BMW....the wheel is timeless. I don’t mind at all if there are other owners who share similar taste. Being the only one with a particular wheel is not that important to my ego. I’d rather have what is and will always be an amazing design.

Lol, modifying cars to individual liking has nothing to do the ego

Please don’t tell me you’re Spencer Berke fan also...
