ZHP Knob Modification
I have a non-illumimated ZHP knob. I removed the LED board from my stock one. Can I retrofit it into the ZHP, or will I ruin it by removing the top portion?

I had the same idea. Didn't seem feasible without ruining it from what I could tell. Better off getting the F-10 knob if you want an illuminated knob.

Exactly what simpleM3 said. I don't see any way of doing it without damaging the ZHP shift knob. I was originally hesitant to go the ZHP route and lose the illumination but did it anyways. Really don't miss the illumination at all.

I did the same. I don't missed it. I have ZHP installed on my E90 and E46. Added alcantara boots to compliment it
