2009 E92 M3 - Deal or No Deal?
Hey guys,
About to purchase my first M3 and boy is it a headache trying to find what I want at a reasonable price. I came across this vehicle here on the forum and on CL. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto...604716134.html https://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1503838 I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the potential price point of this vehicle. I pulled a carfax and its a 5 owner vehicle. Current owner has had it 1 year and has the maintenance records from original owner. Just had the airbag recall done and passed BMW courtesy inspection with no issues. The kicker though is I am located 11 hours away. So I can't really take a look in person without shelling out $200-400. Any advice on whether its worth it to possibly throw out $200-400 on a plane ticket to see this vehicle? |

If it's what you want, get a PPI done before flying out to buy it.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable than me who watches the prices could chime in? |

This was how I approached my E46 M3 purchase a few years ago. I flew up to it, prepared to buy a ticket home if it wasn't as described. Fortunately it was, so I bought it and drove it the 1000km home. Had it two years and loved it. |
