Need good smog place in OC

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a smog place near Irvine to smog an E46 M3? My friend's car needs a smog and he has a CEL, so I am trying to help him out. PM me. Thanks.

It is an E46 M3. The car happens to have a CEL on and needs a smog.

So in other words, you are looking for a place that will look the other way. Not something you want to ask for on an open forum.

Stay complaint with the EPA. It is the responsible and sensible thing to do.

Does your local BMW dealer do smog checks?

The cat has a CEL because of a VANOS, which is not something that causes pollution. California is just a little crazy.

Uh, a VANOS issue could definitely affect smog.

Vanos does have a direct affect on smog.

Yes California is strict, but if it wasn't, we wouldn't have the air quality we do today even though some cities are still very polluted.
