Those were only considered during prototype phase. No foam or silicone pads are shipped because they are not needed. New pipes or low mile cars do not contact the tray. If your pipes are bent down and contact the panel, they can easily be pushed back up enough to clear. They are quite malleable.

Shipping to that zip code is still the flat $40. We are shipping backorders this week. PM me if you'd like to order a tray.

Thanks everyone for their patience!

March 2020 Update:

The last month has been very hectic and we are still working amidst the Covid-19 concerns! We had almost 50 backordered trays ship out which took many hours to work through on top of our already overbooked shop service schedule. We really appreciate everyone's patience as we got through all of those shipments.

We are back on top of things with plenty of trays and materials in stock to fill orders.

Contact us by email, call, or text. We can take credit card orders over the phone and can ship worldwide. mporiumbmw@yahoo.com or 214-642-6365

Everyone stay safe and well!

How much incremental clearance does this create vertically (to avoid front scraping) vs. the OEM undertray?

A good amount, mine doesn't scrape anymore. My OEM undertray broke apart twice because of scraping while cornering (my cars lowered).

The additional clearance is solely on the sides where the two felt "squares" (for lack of a better term) hang down?

Yes, also maybe half an inch in the middle from what I remember correctly. Your bumper becomes the lowest point as this tucks into the bumper and is a solid straight piece so it won’t go lower than the bumper.

This.
Your bumper becomes the lowest point, ground clearance can no further be improved while still using the OEM bumper.
The tray slightly flattens the center area of the bumper cover, so you increase the original ground clearance by yet another 3/4" or so. You gain a maximum of almost 3" at the ends if you compare with a complete OEM front end.

I was about to spend $420 on OEM which will tear and break after a year, I discovered MPorium via Google search and just placed my order. I looked at Turner, it sticks down like OEM and the bracket bolts to the chassis which will create a lot of damage if I hit a road hazard. Plus, the turner version is multiple pieces and costs more.

I looked at Mumbray Motorport, they're similar to Mporium but shipping from the UK costs a lot.

In times like these, we must support a company based locally when we can. Can't wait to bolt mine on.

The center of my bumper (right under the air dam) is getting the worst of the scrapes so it sounds like I wouldn't benefit from this under tray solution. I have the Eibach spings, which lower the car by ~1 inch up front.

This would still pull the bumper up just a bit from my understanding. Might just be enough.

So, having had this thing on my car for over a year now I can say with confidence it is one of the best things I have done for the car.

If you’re on the fence about this thing- just go for it. I tell everyone about it that I see the felts hanging down. The clearance you get makes for a much more pleasant experience driving the car just so you don’t hear your felts hitting damn near everything.

Fitment is great, install is pretty straight forward.

I believe this tray does slightly affect fitment on add-on lips because it changes the shape of the bottom of the bumper a bit. Not a big deal, I had one lip and it just did not fit too well. Never tried it without the tray as they were installed at the same time. Anyone have info on this? I recently destroyed the lip anyway so I think I'm done with them for a bit

It does seem like it could be good thing to drill into for a mounting point for a splitter though...

Always mount a lip first before the tray- so if it fits poorly you know it's the lip. The tray won't affect fitment.

Maybe it was the way I did things then haha. I used the tray as the mounting point for the lip. Put nut serts in the tray so the bolts went thru lip, thru bumper, then into the tray. If I get another one I'll try it a different way, thanks!
