Finance rate.

Can anyone who ordered their car in January or Feb of 2009 tell me what finance rate they got on 60 month basis? I was told I got 0.9% and I just inquired and BMW Financial says it was put in at 2.9% costing me thousands. I know I'm a dummy but I know I was defrauded. BMW NA says they can't tell me what the incentive rate was back then- can any forum members help? I did have top[ tier credit. Thanks!

Are you just now realizing? Do you have a copy of your bill of sale, or any of the initial paperwork you signed?

Also, 2.9% is not bad at all. You can actually mathematically beat it rather simply...

Here's hoping you have your initial paperwork.

And here's hoping you looked over your initial paperwork before signing.

Did not look closely enough! I admit to being a dumby but was wondering if anyone else got the 0.9% rate I thought I was getting.

Even if others got that rate, if your signature is on the paper work at 2.9% it is going to be difficult to overturn I would think... Good luck!

dunno if this helps, but I was monitoring the bmwfs rates for a few years and bought bmw's at the end of 2008 and again in 2011. iirc, the lowest 60 month rate I could get was 1.9%, and 2.9% if you dont have the loyalty incentive.

0.9% was available at times, but only for 24 month terms, I believe. now, I didn't check the rates every month for four years, so it's possible I missed it

+1 for the e90/92 M3 BMWFS has only offered 0.9% for 24 months. With the owner loyalty discount the best 60 month rate was 1.9%.

I think they did offer a lower rate for the e93 but not the e90/e92 M3.

0.9 is pretty hard to get on 60 months from what I've seen - not saying it doesn't happen. 1.9 is the lowest I can personally remember for 60 month terms. I've seen less (0.9) but it was for much shorter terms.

It's all about the term. If your are above 36 months the 2.9 sounds right.

You can just refinance the car. My local credit union is at 2.49% standard and is offering a special at .99% right now.

for a used car?? if they would do that for a 60 month note, that would be a killer deal
