I had planned on getting a lot of good pics today but Mother Nature said other wise. So these will have to do until I can wash it again. The E38 is also sold and leaves tmrw.

Some have asked about rod bearings. They have not been changed but the warranty will cover them if they fail meaning they will put a new motor in it. I called and spoke in lengths about this before I purchased the warranty. That aside, we all know any E9x that is on OEM bearings needs to have them done. So considering doing them out of pocket and see if the warranty will pick up any part of it. I would however be inclined to ask more for the car. Opinions?

Just from a resale value perspective, if you are having trouble unloading the car at this price - I don't think the rod bearings would help. You would never gain your full ROI back.

Having bought and sold a number of modded cars I always found that I was able to get the most return by parting out any mods that I could and getting the car as close to stock as possible. I even had guys buy cars from me then message me a week later to start buying the mods I had in the garage. They wanted a "Stock" car to purchase but quickly got the itch.

Its a beautiful car and im in the market for a E90 like this, the only thing that is killing me is the mileage... You can never really expect it to gain value for mods, people won't pay for that. Regardless its a gorgeous car. Im still itching my head about it.

Eh not really trying to do the rod bearings to unload it easier, more so it's a topic many are looking to have covered before purchase. I haven't had anyone say they're not buying due to bearings. I have a few offers I can except but I'm not desperate to sell it so maybe my explanation came across trying to achieve something I'm not.

Understand. And thank you for the compliments. But mileage is kinda pointless in 95% of buying a used car these days. Example, there's an E63 wagon I'm looking at with 21k miles but it's trashed when I saw it. Compared to this 60k mileage example that looks like no ones been on the inside.

Point is, cleanliness and overall care of the car is far more important, generally speaking, than mileage. Now I can understand some who just don't care and will pay the premium for lower miles. I can respect that, but I don't feel mileage hurts my car much. E90 market has just gone soft. If I had to unload it quickly I'd have to lower the price.

I def agree with you to a certain extent. The mods you have added to that car make it so much sweeter i would not part out. Also your car looks like it has 20k miles because of how well maintained you kept it. It is definitely on my radar. I will sleep on this and probably stare at these pictures of a few days. Is there anyway we can get a exhaust clip i wanna hear it!

Wrong transmission for you.

Very different. And highly subjective
