Are you looking for a Video camera or for a mount ... Try google Head rest mount if you're looking for the mount.

Here is a mount:

I am buying a mount I tried out at Thunderhill Hill this past Friday. It is a large suction cup and it holds very steady and can accept any type of video camera. It is $120 but well worth the cost. If you are interested, PM me and I can show you some of my videos and give you the guy's contact information who sells them.

If you want a camera with great image stability and quasi HD, get the Sony HR11 and get a Flash card. You need to record onto the Flash memory to avoid having the included hard drive turn itself off due to vibration.

I'd also consider a sticky pod mount + a VIXIA HD flash + drive camera.

I bought sticky pod dash mount like this one:

ps this should be in the video section of the board http://www.m3post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=127

I have been using a regular adjustable 3 leg tri pod. It fits very nicely in the back, with two legs on the floor, and one leg in the middle of the rear seat compartment. I secure the tri pod with three hold downs, the sides hooked to the seat belt slide rod on the floor, and the third to a hard point (child seat point) near the rear window. The camera is also tethered to one of the hard points near the rear window. This is very secure and provides for good video out the front.
Hope this will help.

I have 4 full chasecams setups for sale. I'll do 30% off retail prices and include US shipping. I bought a them for a special project but ended up not using them. They are mint/no scratches, etc. I have all of the different mounts (rollbar, suction cup, hardmount) and extension cables as addons. Feel free to go to Chasecam's site add it up, then take off 30% to get your shipped price. I have Sandisk Extreme III 16GB CF cards for $65 for sale too.

For those who dont know, chasecam makes the best direct to MPG (CF card) recording systems out there. They use 520 line wide angle bullet cameras. Many many racers and HPDE'ers use them to record track footage.

I have the cruise cam headrest mount. It doesn't vibrate too much. I thought it worked great.
