6MT action videos
I figured it could be cool to have a thread with a collection of outstanding manual driving action. For 6MT lovers this is the kind of stuff to which we aspire... Rev matching, quick shifting etc. if you all agree, the thread will grow with some exciting interior action. Here's one to kick it off. Also, include your own work too because it would be nice to know how quickly and safely some of the manuals can move through the gears.

Excellent post. It affirms something for me, how hard it is. How much work it is to be good and fast. Minimizing mistakes takes a lot of concentration and talent. It also shows why automatics in racing are so important. Mistakes are unacceptable. Now for me this is an art. I wish more people would continue the art. Thanks for posting this.

Very nice video. His shifts are pretty quick, but I didn't notice any rev matching/heel toe. Also do any for you guys skip shift? I find rev matching 6th to 3rd quite fun.

Mad skills, despite having owned several 6MT cars in the past watching this makes me feel like I have never driven one. Have retired to DCT and after seeing this it appears to have been the correct choice.

Here is an old video of shifting in an M5. One of the things I pay attention to is how easily the 1-2 shift appears to be in his M5.

Easier how? Shifting in the E39 is definitely a lazier activity. Smoothness requires patience, proper cadence between gears. Revs drop btwn. gears at what seems like 1/2 the speed of the E9X.
