For those that have tried these, have you noticed the added unsprung weight? Coming from MPSS, it's 3lb diff per tire, and if sizing up from stock sizes to 255/275, it's a 4lb difference.

Curious how this would be felt on a street driven only car? Slower throttle response and acceleration? Is it negligible?

Hmmm. I'd be inclined to say that it's placebo. Conventional math says this might be equivalent to like 3hp.

Bridgestone / Firestone typically have very stiff sidewalls, I'd say you're more likely to notice improved turn-in and steering.

Hm, 4lbs/corner is 16lbs unsprung weight. Depending on which ratio you go with that's roughly equal to 100-150lbs sprung weight.

So think it's more like 10-15 hp which likely can be felt. Not to mention change in rotational mass (not sure if that's accounted for here).

Anyone make the switch and feel a diff?

Can you report some feedback on running 285/35/19 on the rear?

I thought they were too tall

Are you sure you don't have 285/30/19?

Are you running any spacers on the rear with those 285/35? I'm about to buy some wheels and was going with Indy 500's. I figured 285/35 would rub with a about 8mm more "poke" with the new wheels compared to my 359's.

Sorry everyone they’re 275s! Cheaper and a bit easier to break lose anyways!

No problem. I just wanted double check. I planned to go with 275’s but you had me second guessing my decision. I’ll stick with 275’s, no rub and cheaper!

After seeing that I politely advised them that if you're having problems with a 17 inch tire that a 19 inch is going to be murder. They said it would take at least 2hrs to install. Buy them on tire rack. Way cheaper than at Firestone
WRONG!! Having my 500's installed Monday at Firestone. Price out the door is $707. Tire Rack Price of tires ONLY is $603 (including tax), but if you them mounted, balanced, etc., at Firestone the price is $727.

You could have them mounted somewhere cheaper than firestone... But sounds like you wouldn't save much, regardless.

I have these on my ZCP wheels and they're pretty nice and reliable. I'm running 255/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rears.

adding to this thread to say that these tires are noisier than something like Michelin sport series if that's a serious consideration. Wet grip could be better, but overall wear is phenomenal. I find them more communicative in breakaway than Michelin sports too, if busting out a drift is something you like to do when no one is looking.

I pulled the trigger and gave it a try. 35 tall tire its decent but they don't fit as well as the MPSS do on a 19x11" rim. The same size by Michelin fits really well, sidewall wraps around the rim.

Here's how they fit right now currently with the Indy500s.
