Jeremy Clarkson: "The 135i coupe is the best car BMW makes"

Clarkson on 135i - http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3248

He usually hates BMW's right

Anyways, that's just his opinion but should prove interesting to see how the review goes when they review it in the next season of Top Gear.

His exact words were that it was a "masterpiece".

He likes anything that drives well. He has a preference for Italian and English cars...but he loves anything that drives well. Case in point: he has owned cars from many different countries including German cars (SL55), American (Ford GT), Italian (Lamborghini Gallardo). He has sung praise for Australian cars (Holden) and he likes the BMW too. He has said that the M5 is a better car to own than the Ferrari F430 (cheaper, sounds just as good, more practical).

haha...IMO he hates american cars...only reason why he got the FORDGT was because it's a replica of ferrari...and thank god Ford did a good job on it...nothing from that car is from america....

Notice how he describes the engine as having two different sized turbos, one for the instant response and the slightly larger one to keep the power coming.......since when does he screw up the technological specs that bad. The engine is the same as in the 335i which we all know has two turbos that are the same size....right?

He has to entertain the audience. What kind of a show would it be without ridiculous reasoning and funny shenanigans. I just take everything he says with a grain of salt. There's also Ham and May to balance him out.

yeah he definitely f'ed that up. you're right - same engine as the 335i, the turbos are the same size and they run in parallel not sequentially. the diesels have sequential turbos

All that Jeremy Clarkson cares about is a car that has an even balance of performance, handling, and comfort. if it doesn't fit his criteria, then he rules it out
