POI Databases ?
I have been trawling around to try and determine the database that offers the most comprehensive POI database especially for Queensland points of interest. The two that I have tried have only a very limited number of Queensland references in them although they seem quite extensive for Victoria. I know from looking at Brisbane cabbies sat navs that they seem to have access to an extensive list but I don’t know if this automatically comes from TomTom or Garmin or whether there is a better database around than what I have seen to date.
The two I have used are http://www.gps-data-team.com/poi/australia/ and www.PocketGPSWorld.com I’d be interested in any help around where to find the most comprehensive database – any better ideas or experiences than the above ? |

Hi, Are you going to reburn your DVD Nav disc?
